We welcome generous people willing to help others keep active and stay connected in their community. Contact us if you can donate time -- if it is one hour a month or ten hours a week. No gift of your time is too little or too big!

Volunteers1. The prospective volunteer fills out and submits a volunteer application.

2. The office checks references. NOV also runs a security check through
3. A volunteer needs to share NOV’s sensitivity to its older population and to the importance of timely, high quality service for its members. Try answering these questions: Do I like to interact with older people? Do I have respect for their life experiences? Am I good at communicating to the office about every volunteer experience?.

4. Upon completion of this process, the new volunteer receives a welcome letter and becomes part of NOV volunteers’ list.
